Want to keep your subscriber’s’ attention? You’ve got about 8 seconds.
In the interest of time, we’ll try to keep this short. There are a few aspects of your emails that you should pay the most attention to, in order to keep the attention of your subscribers, such as:
(Wait, are you still there?)
- Your subject line matters. Did you know that “Thirty-three percent of email recipients open email based on subject line alone?” Keep it brief, but catchy and creative. But most of all, keep it relevant.
- Mobile-friendliness is Critical. If your email isn’t easy to read on a mobile device, you can forget that 8 seconds altogether.
- Call-to-actions. Don’t forget to tell the subscriber what you want them to do. Otherwise, they may read your entire email, and then move on with their lives, which isn’t very helpful to you.
