More people are using the Internet now than ever. We recently took a closer look at who’s using the Internet, who’s not, and the data behind it.

Nine in ten American adults are using the Internet now. We wanted to know what the majority of people are doing on the Internet and why the other 10 percent isn’t using it.

There are a variety of factors which influence the accessibility and interest in Internet use in the U.S., such as age, income, geographic location, and race, to name just a few.

For example, we determined that specific age groups (younger generations) and incomes (generally higher incomes) are more likely to use the Internet than others.

In addition to determining who is using the Internet, we wanted to know what it’s being used for. Why? Well, so we can be better marketers, for one. And, we wanted to share our findings with you, so you can better understand your audiences.
