Once-separate social media channels, Instagram and Facebook, have become easier for brands to manage with Facebook’s acquisition and subsequent efforts to unify Facebook and Instagram services and features.
We all know that publishing to and monitoring multiple social media channels can be difficult and time consuming. If it weren’t, we wouldn’t have apps like Hootsuite or Buffer.
Facebook understands this and is making page and ad management across platforms easier for page admins.
The most-recent iteration of their unification effort, which includes plans to integrate Messenger, Instagram and WhatsApp messaging functions, will allow page admins to respond to Instagram messages from their Facebook page inbox.
