Parents on a dying planet send their powerful baby to Earth, where he is raised by loving farmers, and discovers he has superpowers that can be used to defend America. The Superman origin tale has been told so many times that you could quiz almost anyone and they would be able to spin a somewhat accurate version.

Your brand has a great story, too, and if you “lose your way,” returning to your origin could help you find your way back. Hubspot has an informative piece on this very subject.

When looking back at the story of “when” and “how” your business came to be, you should also remember the “why.” Your company’s purpose shaped what became your brand, and while you may have gotten off track, looking to the past can help you steer back onto the road.
