It’s taken some time, but LinkedIn has followed Facebook and others by offering live video streaming on its platform.
LinkedIn Live has been added as another video option for LinkedIn users. And, as Social Media Today (SMT) points out, it makes sense. While it took them some time, they certainly recognize that video encourages engagement. In fact, according to SMT, “LinkedIn users are 20x more likely to share a video on the platform than any other type of post.”
For businesses who find LinkedIn more suited to their messaging and audience than Facebook or Instagram, this is good news and creates more opportunity for businesses to generate engagement and promote their brand.
