The quantity of online content produced every day is staggering, and standing out can be incredibly difficult.
According to Jake Taylor in a 2015 article, every day blog writers post 1,400 new blog posts, Instagram users post 216,000 new photos and 72 hours of new video is uploaded to YouTube.
Simply adding more of the same to this deluge won’t increase traffic, get emails read or improve search rankings.
Instead, content marketers need to find ways to stand out or as Joe Pulizzi said, “tilt” their content just enough to be different from everything else out there and give customers and prospects a reason to care.
Learn more about finding your tilt in Joe’s article, One Thing Is Killing Content Marketing and Everyone Is Ignoring It.
