Find Customers with Twitter

by | Jan 20, 2016 | Content Marketing | 0 comments

Social media channels are a great place to engage with customers and “fans.” They are also great places for prospecting and finding local customers.

In this article from Social Media Examiner, Gemma Costello outlines three ways to connect with local customers on Twitter.

  1. Add location data to your tweets. This allows you to attract users who may be in the vicinity of your business and let them know where you are

  2. Use hashtag searches to find users who are in or may be visiting your area. For example,  #ManchesterNH or #MHT. Add these users to a list or segmented lists and monitor conversations or actively engage with them.

  3. Large businesses with big advertising budgets can create a Promoted Trends campaign which will appear in user trend lists of those who have selected a matching city or region.
