It’s tempting, we know, but we can’t emphasize strongly enough that’s it’s simply a bad idea.

Purchasing an email list may seem like the perfect solution to your problem – How do I get subscribers for my email marketing? But that’s just it; purchased subscribers are not subscribers at all. They’re just a list of email addresses that may or may not be interested in your products and services.

Plus, they never signed up for your email, so they’re less likely to open your emails, and more likely to unsubscribe, or worse, mark your emails as SPAM.

You may think you don’t have time to grow your email list, but it’s easier than you think, and doing it yourself will prove to be much more valuable in the long run.  According to a Marketing Sherpa survey, “91 percent of consumers want to receive emails from the organizations they do business with.”
