How many times have you already read that blog? “5 Tips on How To…” “10 Ways To…” We have all been there, read that. Readers want to learn something new.

There are topics out there that haven’t gotten a lot of coverage yet, and in many cases, it’s because they require research, and – GASP – writing something entirely new that hasn’t been said before. Now that’s just crazy!

This shouldn’t be a surprise to content marketers or digital marketers in general. There is so much content out there that isn’t giving readers anything of value that isn’t already available.

Although special interest articles may target a smaller audience, people are intrigued by new topics, whether or not the actual subject is something they’re in to or not.
