Finding new ways to increase brand awareness can be difficult and time consuming. One new-ish method worth considering in an ever-connected world is influencers.

Influencers are people who have managed to develop their own loyal online audience who trust them. When an influencer mentions, shares or promotes your brand, their followers will naturally investigate thus increasing your awareness of your brand.

Recently, an Instagram user with a very large following (141,000) shared a photo of  a client’s product. The post had 7,500+ likes and over 300 comments. And as a direct result, that product was added to people’s shopping carts more than 90 times within 24 hours of the post. In this instance, not only is brand awareness growing, but the influencers are having a direct impact on sales.
