Hubpot announced a new website plugin to gather visitor insights.
Leadin is a free plugin that can be installed on WordPress or added, via code, to web sites built outside WordPress. The plugin allows you to create forms on your site that gather visitor insights.
Once contact information has been collected, Leadin gathers information on when the contacts visit your site, what pages they view and what social networks they are on. Leadin also finds information publicly available about each contact such as location, work history and company details, giving you the information you need to follow-up in a targeted way.
Leadin can also push your contacts to an email marketing provider such as MailChimp, Constant Contact, Campaign Monitor, GetResponse or AWeber, enabling you to develop a lead nurturing and follow-up campaign.
We recently installed the plugin on Stephanie’s personal project, fortydrinks.com, to evaluate the CRM plugin as a free alternative for businesses who might not be ready to invest in Hubspot, SharpSpring or other CRM/automation software. We will post a more complete review once we have seen it in action for a period of time.
